The course provides basic and detailed knowledge about the formation of an oil and gas accumulation. Specifically, the course will include the following main contents: Physical and chemical properties of oil and gas; Origin of oil and gas; Generation and migration of oil and gas; Reservoir, seals,traps. The course also deals with the calculation of oil and gas reserves and the preliminary application of geological and geophysical methods in the field of oil and gas exploration. In addition, the course also introduces unconventional oil and gas resources.
