This is the Oil & Gas English unit in the
English language training program at PetroVietnam University. The Oil
& Gas English course is designed to develop the communication skills and
specialist English language knowledge of workers, engineers, and reservoir
managers working in the oil and gas industry. The main areas covered during the
course are technical terminology, communication with clients/colleagues in some
contexts, trends in the petroleum industry, and project management.
This course adopts the
learner-centered approach and learning-by-doing theories. Assessment is continuous,
which allows for a comprehensive view of the extent to which students have met
the course objectives and outcomes.
